P.E.A.C.E. is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven full-time Executive Director to lead and grow our organization. The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, oversee operations, support program development, and work closely with the Board of Directors to advance P.E.A.C.E.’s mission of providing culturally inclusive and accessible mental health resources to the AAPI community in Georgia.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $55,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience, plus health benefits

About (P.E.A.C.E.)

P.E.A.C.E. is a growing nonprofit organization providing culturally responsive and linguistically accessible mental health services to AsianAmericans/Pacific Islanders (AAPI) individuals, families, and communities through community engagements and education, culturally appropriate services, and advocacy in metro Atlanta, Georgia, with a strong focus on youth and young adults. We are a small but expanding organization committed to equity, community healing, and capacity-building.

 

Position Overview

The Executive Director (ED) is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an early-career nonprofit profession already to step into organizational leadership with mentorship and support from the Founder and Board of Directors.The ED oversees daily operations, financial management, resource development, community partnerships, and program coordination. This role offers a unique opportunity to build leadership experience, shape organizational systems, and grow alongside a mission-driven team while making a meaningful impact in the AAPI community.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Client Services

● Oversee client intake and service coordination processes

● Serve as a primary point of contact for community inquiries

● Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of client, clinician, and program records

 

Financial Management

● Manage day-to-day financial operations, including deposits, reimbursements, and recordkeeping

● Coordinate clinician payments and support basic financial reconciliation

● Maintain organized and up-to-date financial and banking records

 

Grant Development & Compliance

● Identify and track grant funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities

● Monitor grant deadlines, eligibility criteria, and compliance requirements

● Prepare and submit grant applications and required reports

 

Community Outreach & Communications

● Lead organizational outreach efforts to community partners, sponsors, and stakeholders

● Oversee social media and digital communications

● Support relationship-building with local businesses and community organizations

 

Events & Volunteer Coordination

● Represent P.E.A.C.E. at community events and outreach activities

● Plan and support organization-led programs and events

Recruit, coordinate, and support interns and volunteers

 

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

Required:

1) Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience

2) Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

3) Interest in or experience with grant writing and nonprofit fundraising

4) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5) Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Board and community partners

 

Preferred:

1) Master’s degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience

2) Experience serving AAPI, immigrant, refugee, or other culturally diverse communities

3) Familiarity with mental health services, social services, or healthcare-adjacent nonprofit work

4) Comfort using digital tools such as client databases, social media platforms, and design tools(e.g., Canva)

5) Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in Asian languages

5) A flexible, hands-on leadership style and a strong commitment to equity and culturally responsive care
